Intel forays into Web hosting

Intel Corp, which gained popularity for its Pentium computer chips, has made a foray into Web site hosting. The new business entails setting up over a dozen service center by the end of 2000. The centers will be used to operate Internet sites and provide a range of products from computers to servers. Intel has already opened its first center, located across the street from the company's base at the heart of California's Silicon Valley.

Oracle to spend $100M on e-business advertising
