Europe plays e-tail catch-up
Article Abstract:
Europe-based electronic retailers are slowly catching up to their US-based counterparts. This is due to the presence of Web links, affiliate sales channels that connect the Web sites of electronic merchants with other sites that are often content-based. The improvement in the availability of significant venture capital funding for European e-tailers have also served to encourage the entry of online services companies.
