Should Congress strengthen its oversight of lobbying?
Article Abstract:
Views in favor of the argument of whether the congress should strengthen its oversight of lobbying include the need of a legislation that would add greater accountability, transparency and integrity to the system. The view opposing the introduction of legislation is that there is no evidence whether the rules that exist are working or not as no one has taken the time to review the present Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA).

Labor unions' future: Protecting labor
Article Abstract:
Workers in America lacked federal laws allowing them to join or form a union or establish wage limits in the early 1900s. The election of Franklin D. Roosevelt as president changed their situation, as they were given rights to join unions and were protected from unfair labor practices of employers although organizing workers into categories was still an ambiguous issue.
