Trilogy extends hostile bid for Chapters

Trilogy Retail Enterprises LP has extended its hostile takeover bid for Chapters Inc. Trilogy's original C$110.5 million hostile bid was to have expired on January 24, 2001. However, the bid has been extended to February 1, 2001.
