Oracle defies wisdom by using itself to pitch its software products
Article Abstract:
The San Francisco, CA office of Grey Worldwide is handling the new Oracle Corp. ad account. The account, worth $40 million in the US and $100 million worldwide, is innovative in that the company itself is promoting the fact that it has saved one billion dollars over the past year by using its own E-Business Suite software package. The campaign has been praised for its simplicity and directness and for not using the shock or celebrity-spokesperson ad formulas.
