Call-Net warns of default
Article Abstract:
Call-Net Enterprises Inc warned that if the move by disgruntled shareholders to replace the board of directors succeeds, the company would be unable to pay C$2.2 billion in unsecured debt. The Toronto, Canada- based company would be forced to pay all its debt, including a 1% premium, within 40 days because the success of the shareholders' proposal to revamp the current board will activate a provision of Call-Net's high-yield bond issues.
