The year 1975 was memorable for Australia for several reasons like it's working to rebuild Darwin after Cyclone Tracy, and ended with the dismissal of Prime Minister William Gough by Governor-General Sir John Kerr. The political upheavals and cultural revival that marked the year are discussed.
