Five directors, Clint Eastwood, Sofia Coppola, Anthony Minghella, Peter Jackson and Gary Ross, who could change the way movies are made speak about their pet projects as well as their vision for making classy movies. The star directors have sent out a clear message in the movies they made and that is they are the stars of the project and not the lead actors who are mere puppets acting out their roles but all are certain that they will only make movies close to their heart and something that can connect with the audiences.

Village Roadshow, which produced the hit movie "The Matrix" and its two upcoming sequels, "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Matrix Revolution" in a joint venture with Warner Bros, hopes the "Matrix" series will propel it to a new level. Last year the company canceled its dividend to help finance its share of the production costs for the "Matrix" sequels.
