The verdict: Facing near certain jail time, Stewart vows appeal

A New York jury convicted Martha Stewart, one of America's most popular and affluent celebrities, for lying to federal officials investigating a questionable stock trade. She was upset as the federal judge read the jury's verdict on all four counts of making false statements, obstructing and conspiracy and each count carries a maximum penalty of five years and a $250,000 fine.
