Trade Talks In Miami End Early
Article Abstract:
The United States and Brazil concluded what they are calling a successful international trade meeting in Miami to lay the foundation for a Western Hemisphere trade agreement that will involve 34 countries. Conference negotiators Robert B. Zoellick and Celso Amorim addressed a variety of issues, such as agricultural subsidies and tariffs, intellectual property protection and public contracts. The city of Miami is seeking to become headquarters of the trade agreement, the Free Trade Area of the Americas.
