Uncertain times: Canada's economy shows signs of cooling

Economists predict that Canada's tourism industry will be one of few sectors that will be spared the effects of a downturn in summer 1995, which they describe as a mid-cycle correction. Unemployment is the biggest worry, because widespread job insecurity could cause a drop in consumer spending.
