A new economy again
Article Abstract:
Issues relating to the economic situation of the United States are presented, from the perspective of historical situations where innovations in technology generated eras of high growth in productivity. It is seen that such innovations created more investment increases in the innovations arena, yet not in the wider economy.

Escaping the jobless productivity trap
Article Abstract:
Worker productivity should be reexamined in the light of technological advances in the workplace. 'Per capita productivity' should be replaced by the 'total productivity' concept which includes all factors of production.
