Achieving useful performance and cost information in a comparative performance measurement consortium
Article Abstract:
The local government performance is compared with benchmark performance levels of some other local government and measured for its service quality and reliability. The study concludes that reliability and relevance of performance and cost data is key in achieving data use in a comparative performance measurement. The North Carolina Government Performance Measurement Project is taken for the study.
