America: the first nonimperialist superpower
Article Abstract:
The US is considered as the world's greatest nonimperialist superpower. Its leadership has been characterized as the most generous. Top US leaders have expressed their desire to modify the original Bretton Woods agreement. Financial conditions have changed considerably since the post-World War II era and most economies in Europe and Asia have gained a certain measure of political clout. The US has dedicated itself to strive, not only for the good of the domestic economy, but also for the upliftment of the global community.
