Arrow and the information market failure in health care: the changing content and sources of health care information
Article Abstract:
The potential for a metamorphosis in the totally physician-dependent patient due to the increase of medical information provided by the Internet is discussed. Limited patient comprehension of such information and the intangibles of the doctor-patient relationship make it unlikely such information will ever go away.

A short history of the Australian experience of local sourcing of supplies in the automobile industry is presented and some of the lessons learned from such action that could be considered by the economic policy communities of Indian and other developing nation are discussed.
