Conflicting discourses of knowledge: Understanding the policy adoption of pro-burning knowledge claims in Cape York Peninsula, Australia
Article Abstract:
An examination on the way in which knowledge claims are acquired in environmental policy using the pro-burning policy standard in Cape York Peninsula, Queensland, Australia, is presented. The analysis aims to provide a powerful heuristic approach to completely understand how contested knowledge claims become recognized and established in policy.

The new environmental policy instrument(NEPI), held at the Kyoto summit, faced severe disagreements between the European union (EU) and the US, where the EU stood in opposition but later switched to designing a domestic emissions trading system. Environmental policy integration: towards an analytical framework

The origins of the concept of environmental policy integration (EPI) are discussed, and conceptual clarification regarding its definition and context are provided. An analytical framework consisting of vertical and horizontal dimensions of EPI are derived.
