Contradictions of ecological modernisation: pulp and paper manufacturing in South-east Asia
Article Abstract:
An investigation of pulp and paper manufacturing in South-east Asia indicates that dynamics of ecological modernisation may exist in large-scale, export-oriented modern sectors of newly industrializing nations. However, ecological modernisation may pose more problems for small and medium-sized firms.
