Issues are discussed regarding the Muslim-Christian violence tearing Indonesia apart. The conflict is rooted in ethnicity, religion, and inter-class conflict., and one result of the communal violence is an increasing alliance between the military hardliners and the Muslim right. What all thismeans for the future of Indonesia is still not clear.
