Article Abstract:
This article discusses the election of President Vojislav Kostunica in Serbia and some of the problems he and his country may face in the post-Milosevic era. Issues include the federal parliamentary system in Yugoslavia, the indictment of Milosevic by the war crimes tribunal at the Hague, recognition of Kostunica by the European leaders and the lifting of sanctions against Yugoslavia.
