Human rights, religion, and the cosmopolitan sensibility
Article Abstract:
Human rights have become global, as it has accepted the cultures and worldviews independent of the West, in order to sustain ordinary people's struggles against unjust states and oppressive social practices. The secular ideals took an increasingly universal character as the political conflicts in non-western societies are being waged over the prospect of establishing a liberal democratic state.

Reconciling universality and diversity in international human rights: A theoretical and methodological framework and its application in the context of Islam
Article Abstract:
The relationship between Islam and international human rights was examined framed in terms of conflict and competition. The theoretical and methodological framework of inclusive universality was proposed to approach the issue.
