Implementing quality service in a public hospital setting: a path-analytic study of organizational antecedents of employee perceptions and outcomes
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the models used in implementing service quality in public hospitals reveals that the 'parallel process' of organizational antecedents is the most effective tool in implementing service quality improvements. The path analysis approach in evaluating the models also reveals that the culture of service quality and the recognition of the quality program determines the climate for change and the communication of change respectively.
