Leadership: myth and vision
Article Abstract:
Jameson W. Doig rightly points out that leadership in public administration has been neglected by political scientists because it is a political-theory issue and not a political-science concern by virtue of its moral content. However, Doig is misguided in likening the public-administration leader to the entrepreneur. The entrepreneur is a business entity and a masculine representation, thereby making it inappropriate for public administration.
