Muslims, missiles and Monica
Article Abstract:
The difference in moral attitudes between Muslims and people from Western nations is most evident in the case of US Pres Bill Clinton, who was charged with having a sexual affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. While Muslims criticized Clinton for lying to his own people, his family and his wife, painting him as a man without integrity and honor, Americans seemed to have been unaffected by their president's morality, as shown by his continued popularity in public opinion surveys.
