Policy analysis: better days on the horizon
Article Abstract:
Policy analysis has had limited popularity because of the paucity of research output in this field. Further, it suffered some setbacks during the Reagan administration. The economic slowdown and the relative unfamiliarity of policy makers with policy analysis also contributed to the decline. The application of policy analysis during the policy-review process of policy evaluation and its solid backing from the academe will promote a demand for this policy analysis in the future.
