Resignation & cynicism
Article Abstract:
Nigeria has an opaque and irresponsible government not interested in the welfare of the people and incapable of providing them the possible and fair benefits afforded by high profits of oil companies. The elections can be chance for the public to express their political preference and attempt to change their country, but most Nigerians are resigned and cynical about the fact that polling would necessarily be manipulated.
