Sublimating Hiphop: rap music in white America
Article Abstract:
The rap music in the age of Eminem is desublimatated and looked at in a proper perspective. It is felt that Eminem is part of a long tradition of white sublimation of African American people and culture which points to a problem at the heart of U.S. history and society, the persistence of white racial oppression.
