The IMF's imprudent role as lender of last resort
Article Abstract:
The International Monetary Fund's (IMF) practice of bailing out endangered creditors must be halted. Countries suffering from financial crises stemming from their own ineffective policies must be made to solve their own problems through formulation and implementation of sound monetary policies. Providing them with bail-out funds encourages them to defer economic reforms. Foreign investors should also learn to take responsibility for the potential risks of their own investments. Aside from the IMF, the Exchange Stabilization Fund and the World Bank should also be discouraged from providing bail-outs.

A proposal to deregulate banking
Article Abstract:
Democratizing the payments system, demonetization of banks, and repudiating government guarantees will produce significant savings for society, despite initial costs. This deregulation of banks will reduce the regulatory burden and costs of government supervision while increasing efficiency in capital allocation.
