The evolving forest regime and domestic actors: strategic or normative adaptation?
Article Abstract:
The effects of the international environmental agreements on domestic policy and forest owners in industrialized, forest-rich countries are investigated by explaining its effects on the Norwegian forest policy and forestry. The study shows that international agreements that affect target groups can be effective nevertheless negative adaptations are possible when strategic adaptations are employed.
