Cholinesterase and other serum liver enzymes in underweight outpatients with eating disorders
Article Abstract:
A study on women with anorexia nervosa or other eating disorders to evaluate cholinesterase and other serum liver enzyme levels as compared with well-nourished women is presented. Results show that outpatients who had eating disorders and were underweight had abnormalities in serum liver enzymes.

Anorexia nervosa associated with right frontal brain lesion
Article Abstract:
Fear of increased body weight, dieting, body image, and strong desire to lose weight that was used for diagnosis of anorexia nervosa is described. It is felt that less brain blood flow in the frontal regions of the brain may cause clinical symptoms like cognitive distortions in anorexia patients.
