An empirical analysis of eating disorders and anxiety disorders publication (1989-2000)-Part I: Research methods
Article Abstract:
The objective of comparing eating disorder literature and the anxiety disorder scientific literature in the years 1989, 1999 and 2000 is presented. Methods adopted include rationale for the study design, literature search procedures, training of raters, assessment of research design and methodology in each article and statistical analysis.

Personality traits after recovery from eating disorders: Do subtypes differ?
Article Abstract:
Individuals recovered from anorexia and bulimia nervosa are compared to determine characteristics that are shared by or distinguish eating disorder subtypes. Results reveal that a wide range of symptoms persists after recovery and that they do not differ between subtypes of eating disorder.

Relationship of temperament and perceptions of nonshared environment in bulimia nervosa
Article Abstract:
Issues are presented concerning the influence of personality variables on the response to treatment, clinical presentation and incidence of bulimia nervosa. The high prevalence of harm avoidance scores in the study are discussed.
