Classical conditioning in a nonclinical obsessive-compulsive population
Article Abstract:
Two experiments were conducted to examine the hypothesis that people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) should show accelerated associative conditioning compared with normal control samples. A comparison of the classical eyeblink conditioning of control and OCD-like college students was carried out. Results indicate that OCD samples learned substantially faster than the normal control students and that background task affected conditioning.

Eyeblink classical conditioning differentiates normal aging from Alzheimer's disease
Article Abstract:
This article discusses the use of eyeblink classical conditioning in studying the neurobiology of aging, memory and learning. Brain imaging of middle aged and older adults are also used to determine the effects of Alzheimer's disease on the hippocampal cholinergic pathways.

Constraint, alcoholism, and electrodermal response in aversive classical conditioning and mismatch novelty paradigms
Article Abstract:
This article disscusses research on the personality traits of socialization and constraint on skin conductance responses during classical conditioning and novelty paradigms. Results suggest different processes influence constraint among alcoholics and non-alcoholics.
