Article Abstract:
The reunification of L.S. Vygotsky's and A.N. Leontiev's theories demonstrates that the latter's work is an extension of Vygotsky's theoretical position. It should also be noted that Leontiev's research projects in the 1920s and early 1930s are well entwined into Vygotskian thinking that they should not be treated as separate. However, while their approaches were complementary, Vygotsky adopted dialogues with various theoretical positions whereas Leontiev's theoretical options were limited.
