Conservation technology adoption decisions and the theory of planned behavior
Article Abstract:
The Theory of Planned Behavior is applied in a study of water saving technology adoption and technology investment behavior for Florida strawberry farmers. This theory is compared with The Theory of Reasoned Action and the Theory of Derived Demand. Findings support the Theories of Planned Behavior and Derived Demand where financial capability is essential.

Evaluation of a Major Financial Incentive for In-Home Energy Conservation
Article Abstract:
Consumer reaction to Canada's latest program to stimulate conversion from oil home heating systems to alternate energy forms is examined in a mail questionnaire. The program emphasized financial incentives. The program is found to be necessary, at least at its present level, to maintain energy conservation goals.
