Adolescents with behavior disorders have low self-esteem, low academic performance, low social and are irritable. The risk and protective factors, which affect the development of behavior disorder,s include socio-economic status, intelligence, social competence, childhood abuse, family size, parental problems and family support. Primary intervention in childhood is recommended.

Denial of HIV/AIDS and preventive behaviour among Israeli adolescents
