Development language disorders - a follow-up in later adult life. Cognitive, language and psychosocial outcomes
Article Abstract:
Little is known on the adult outcome and longitudinal trajectory of childhood developmental language disorders (DLD) and on the prognostic predictors. A receptive developmental language disorder involves significant deficits in theory of mind, verbal short-term memory, and phonological processing, together with substantial social adaptation difficulties and increased risk of psychiatric disorder in adult life.

Early-onset obsessive-compulsive disorder: A subgroup with a specific clinical and familial pattern?
Article Abstract:
The specificity of early-onset obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is investigated with a focus on the effect of gender, comorbid conditions and familial risk of tics and OCD by studying a population consisting exclusively of patients with early-onset OCD. Early onset is not the only specific clinical marker for familial risk in OCD.
