Early evolution and biogeography of Lorisiform Strepsirrhines
Article Abstract:
Molecular and paleontological data that together support a late middle Eocene Afro-Arabian origin for Crown Lorisiformes is discussed. The patterns discovered have significant implications for interpreting an early Lorisiform fossil record that is composed basically of isolated teeth and jaws.
