Eating disorder symptoms and body image concerns in Iran: comparisons between Iranian women in Iran and in America
Article Abstract:
A comparison of rates of eating disorder symptoms in Iranian women living in Iran and Iranian women living in the US is presented. There was found to be no indication of college-age women in Iran showing fewer symptoms of eating disorders than Iranian American women of similar age in Los Angeles, CA.

Forbidden fruit: does thinking about a prohibited food lead to its consumption?
Article Abstract:
Research examining the validity of the claim that forbidding certain foods leads to overeating is presented. Studies observing the participants' reaction to forbidden and allowed foods are described. It is concluded that enhanced forbidden food desires do not lead to overeating.
