Structure compatibility and restructuring in judgment and choice
Article Abstract:
Cognitive methodologies linked to judgment and choices in decision-making were examined. Four experiments were conducted to contrast optional cognitive methodologies involving the restructuring and structure compatibility hypotheses. Results were construed in accordance with the structure compatibility hypotheses partly because the consequences of ranges in value were gotten, but not of accountability.

Using judgments to understand decoy effects in choice
Article Abstract:
The contextual dependency of choice is evident in decoy effects which influence the relative attractiveness of elements within a choice set. The experiments revealed, however, that choice is not entirely influenced by weights and values but rather by anticipated social attributions especially when perceived accountability for a choice is high. Multiple judgment measures are needed to better understand the interrelationship among values that play a role in choice.
