Using item response theory to understand comorbidity among anxiety and unipolar mood disorders
Article Abstract:
Research describing comorbidity in common mental disorders is presented. In particular the hypothesis that comorbidity is associated with mood and anxiety disorders because they are each indicators of higher order factors is examined.

Factor structure of the Psychopathic Personality Inventory: validity and implications for clinical assessment
Article Abstract:
A factor analysis of the subscales of Psychopathic Personality Inventory (PPI) was conducted. The findings support the use of PPI in community samples for assessment of psychopathy in individuals.

Identifying psychopathy subtypes on the basis of personality structure
Article Abstract:
A model based cluster is analyzed to identify subtypes of criminal psychopaths on basis of differences in personality structure with 96 male prisoners diagnosed as psychopathic. The results suggest that psychopaths are distinctly identified as 'emotionally stable psychopaths' and 'aggressive psychopaths'.
