Family physician consultation patterns indicate high risk for early-onset anorexia nervosa
Article Abstract:
The specific pattern in the frequency and content of family physician consultations is studied to determine if the early-onset of anorexia nervosa could have been predicted. A single consultation about eating behavior or weight and shape concerns is a strong predictor of the subsequent emergence of anorexia nervosa.
