Goals as reference points
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze goals as reference points that change outcomes in a way that is consistent with the value function of Prospect Theory. Proofs that goals support the characteristics of value function were given and examined. The value function was then utilized to discuss empirical results on affect, performance, effort, and persistence. Results indicated that a value function analysis of goals could be extended to different non-status quo reference points.

On the shape of the probability weighting function
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze a nonparametric estimation process for evaluating the probability weighting function and value function at the level of the individual subject. Two-outcome gambles crossed with different levels of probability related to the maximum outcome were utilized to carry out the study. Results indicated that the proof in the domain of gains promoted a two-parameter weighting function.
