Long-term prediction of marital quality following a relationship education program: Being positive in a constructive way
Article Abstract:
A relationship education program in Germany investigates gender differences in predicting long-term relationship adjustment/distress and assesses communication behaviors in newlywed couples. Results suggest that couples are susceptible to future relationship distress if women demonstrate extreme increases in positive and decreases in negative communication after intervention.

Infidelity in couples seeking marital therapy
Article Abstract:
The study examined the qualities of individual and couples that differentiate couples with and without infidelity, using couples from a randomized clinical trial of marital therapy. The findings reveal that couples with infidelity showed greater marital instability, dishonesty, arguments about trust, narcissism and time spent part.
