Mental health problems among homeless people in Sweden: focus on Stockholm
Article Abstract:
This article examines the prevalence of mental health problems among the homeless and the mental health care accessible to them in Stockholm, Sweden. The authors maintain 3,000 people in Stockholm are homeless, with 47% suffering from mental illness, and argue cutbacks in health and social care are linked with the growing mentally ill homeless population.

Use of mental health services by homeless people in Paris
Article Abstract:
This article discusses mental health problems among the homeless and their access to care in Paris, France. The authors, evaluating the mental health system, maintain approximately 6% of the homeless population is mentally ill and state out of those only 71% have any form of contact with mental health services.

Service needs of the homeless mentally ill in Belfast
Article Abstract:
This article evaluates mental health care services for the homeless in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The authors, arguing mental health care for the mentally ill homeless is inadequate, suggest mental health and social workers actively engage the mentally ill homeless, as they are often reluctant to seek out care.
