A primer on brain imaging in developmental psychopathology: What is it good for?
Article Abstract:
Strength and weaknesses of brain imaging techniques employed in research of developmental psychopathology is presented with discussions on limitations and utilities of imaging. Unique opportunity to constrain theories of pathopsychological based on understandings of brain function which opens avenues for novel treatments is offered by brain-imaging research.

Neural connectivity in children with bipolar disorder: impairment in the face emotion processing circuit
Article Abstract:
The neural functional connectivity during a face processing task in BD (bipolar disorder) youth is compared to that in healthy controls. A deficient connectivity between the amygdala and temporal association cortical regions that was earlier implicated in processing facial expressions and social stimuli was observed in the BD youth.
