Prader-Willi syndrome: Intellectual abilities and behavioral features by genetic subtype
Article Abstract:
The reports revealing that Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) cases due to the larger type I (TI) form of deletion show differences to cases with the smaller types II (TII) deletion were tested. Comparison of TI and TII deletion cases revealed few differences, but ability levels tended to be lower in the TI deletion cases.

The Emanuel Miller Memorial Lecture 2006: Adoption as intervention. Meta-analytic evidence for massive catch-up and plasticity in physical, socio-emotional, and cognitive development
Article Abstract:
Meta-analyses on more than 270 studies that were carried out on more than 230,000 adopted and non-adopted children and their parents in an adoption catch-up model were tested. It was seen that in most developmental domains international adoptions did not lead to lower rates of catch-up than domestic adoptions.
