Predictors of parent training efficacy for a child externalizing behavior problems-a meta-analytic review
Article Abstract:
The differential effectiveness of parent training led researchers to examine a variety of child, parent and familial variables that may predict treatment response. The results reveal that response to parent training is often influenced by variables not directly involving the child, with socioeconomic status and maternal mental health being particularly salient factors.

The importance of parenting in the development of disorganized attachment: Evidence from a preventive intervention study in adaptive families

Two attachment-based intervention programs were tested to examine whether attachment disorganization can be prevented or reduced, as infant disorganized attachment is a serious risk factor for later child psychopathology. The results revealed that short-term preventive intervention program lowered the rate of disorganized attachment.
