Prevalence of binge eating disorder in different populations of French Women
Article Abstract:
Binge eating disorder (BED) is more common in the women involved in weight control groups than the nonpatient community women. Patients with a history of weight fluctuations suffer from BED. In the weight control group patients, BED is more common than bulimia. Individuals with BED have the habits of inducing vomiting or using diet pills regularly. The results of a survey on the prevalence of BED in different populations of French women are given.

Comparison of eating disorder patients with and without compulsive exercising
Article Abstract:
Compulsive exercising behavior in individuals suffering from eating disorders is investigated. The results showed that 28% of the subjects exercised for at least 60 minutes everyday. Compulsive exercisers tended to be dissatisfied with their body appearance but non-compulsive exercisers were more likely to vomit and use laxatives and had a higher binge eating frequency.
