Processing time, imagery, and spatial memory
Article Abstract:
Performance on spatial memory span depends on imagery skill, which is related to age and processing time. Age has positive correlation with spatial memory span and accuracy on the imagery tasks. However, it is negatively correlated with the time taken for cognitive processing and imagery tasks. Age-related change in processing speed enhances imagery and spatial memory. Speed of processing affects performance of tasks in a fixed period.
