The stroop revisited: A meta-analysis of interference control in AD/HD
Article Abstract:
An inhibition deficit, including poor interference control, is implicated as one of the core deficits in Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). The aim of this meta-analysis is to investigate the strength of an interference deficit in AD/HD as measured by the Stroop Color-Word Task and to assess the role of moderating variables that could explain the results.

Response inhibition in AD/HD, CD, comorbid AD/HD+CD, anxious, and control children: a meta-analysis of studies with the stop task
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine whether impaired response inhibition is manifested in other psychopathological disorders or is limited to attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD). The findings showed that both AD/HD children and those with conduct disorder (CD) manifested poor response inhibition, and that AD/HD children did not differ from AD/HD+CD children in their ability to inhibit responses. It was also found that AD/HD children showed slower latency response on the primary task than controls.
