Sublime Simon: The consistent vision of economic psychology's Nobel laureate
Article Abstract:
An investigation of the ideas of Herbert Simon, who sought to bring psychology into economics, is presented. Particular attention is given to his views on the limitations of human rationality, which came across in his early work but became clearer in the mid-1950s in two essays presenting the concept of limited rationality to highlight the need for psychological ideas in economics.
